Hi everyone! Everyone gravitates towards fresh, energising bath and body products in the summers and while we wait for the monsoons, let me share some products I’ve been loving this season. I love fruity scents and the occasional florals in my body care products so the majority of these are fruity scents.

The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel (Rs 425)
I think The Body Shop makes the most amazing shower gels and one of their best sellers (and one of my top favorites) is the Strawberry shower gel. The vibrant red gel instantly energises and the tangy, juicy strawbery scent feels super refreshing. It lathers well especially if you’re using a bath lily but doesn’t dry out the skin since its soap-free. I absolutely love this scent and highly recommend this if you’d like to try something fresh and fruity. Buy online.

Yves Rocher Strawberry Body Exfoliant (Rs 1270)
Talking of strawberries, I have to mention this luxurious body scrub by French brand, Yves Rocher. It comes in this beautiful vintage jam jar and looks good enough to eat! I love the creamy texture and look of this scrub – it looks like freshly blended strawberies and has a wonderful natural strawbery scent. The exfoliating bits are gentle and give a bit of a scrub but nothing too harsh. This is an absolute delight to use and I quite like how natural and soft the fragrance is.

The Body Shop British Rose Bath Foam (Rs 895)
You’re probably wondering about the overload of The Body Shop in this post, but they make the best bath and body care products so its hard not to include them here! The newest launch from TBS is their British Rose range which smells absolutely beautiful and fresh. The scent is clean yet floral and not overpowering at all. I love rose scents and I don’t mind them a bit intense but you can’t help but appreciate the subtlety of the fragrance in this range. They have a shower gel and body scrub as well but I’m currently loving the Bath Foam which I just use as a shower wash. Buy online.

Plum Goodness Wild Cherries and Kiwi Body Polish & Body Lotion (Rs 380 each)
Cherries and Kiwi is a really nice combination and you get the feel of using something fresh and natural because of the presence of Kiwi seeds in there. The tartness of the cherries and kiwi gives this a fresh spin and its a nice change from the sour citrus-y scents that are quite common. I really like the body lotion from this range as well which is a bit on the thicker side so works well on my mildly dry arms and legs. The scent is neither too intense nor too mild and when you use the body polish and lotion together, the tangy scent lingers for a few hours on the skin. Buy online.

The Nature’s Co Watermelon Body Scrub (Rs 845)
Speaking of body polishes, the watermelon scrub from The Nature’s Co has the wonderful freshness of watermelon, which is a very rare fragrance in body products. The seeds and grainy walnut bits give a little bit of exfoliation and the body wash cleanses well. TNC products are generally mildly fragranced so people who don’t prefer heavily scented bath products would really like this one. Buy online.

The Body Shop Olive Shower Gel (Rs 425)
This is one of my favorites from The Body Shop and one I’ve repurchased several times. Olive doesn’t sound very exciting in terms of fragrance but this smells lovely. Its fresh, with just a hint of fruitiness but nothing too heavy or sweet. I find it hard to describe since I’ve never tried anything like it before. You have to give this a try to know what its like. The soap-free gel formula cleans well without drying out the skin. Buy online.

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Lotion (Rs 695)
The Fuji Green Tea range from The Body Shop has a wonderful lemony green tea scent which I personally love. The body lotion is light weight, hydrates without greasiness and envelopes the skin in the beautiful delicate and fresh fragrance. I’m not sure if this is permanent so do give it a try before its taken off the shelves! Buy online.

Spa Ceylon Grapefruit and Coconut Crystal Body Polish (Rs 2275)
If you’re looking a deep body exfoliant, this crystal body polish is an excellent option. This contains sugar crystals in an oil base which gives helps get rid of all dead skin and leaves the skin super soft and ultra smooth. Because this is on the rougher side, its only recommended to be used once in two weeks. Because of the grapefruit, this smells very citrusy and refreshing! Buy online at Rs 1655.

Kama Ayurveda Sandalwood and Mint Bath Salts (Rs 1895)
The combination of sandalwood and mint is fresh, aromatic and quite relaxing. If you have a bath tub, a few minutes soaking with these salts can be very soothing, particularly if you have sore muscles. I just like to use this as a soak for a pedicure or manicure. You could also dissolve some in a bucket and use this as last rinse after a bath. This one is going to leave you bathroom smelling wonderful for hours!
