MAC All That Glitters eye shadow

This is my favorite MAC eye shadow and one I would happily repurchase when I run out. Its a gold tinged champagne shade which is the perfect shimmery nude color on my medium complexion (I’m close to NC40 in MAC). The Veluxe Pearl formula by MAC is fantastic – silky smooth in texture, excellent color pay-off and a color that adheres well to the lids. Highly recommend that you give this a try whenever you’re at the MAC counter, its a great color that works with everything!

2. MAC Woodwinked
Next on my list is Woodwinked, which is a must-have for festivals and weddings in my opinion. I used this for my wedding makeup and countless makeup artists swear by this as well. Its a beautiful gold, not too warm or yellow toned with a lovely pearl finish. Its a Veluxe Pearl formula (my favorite from MAC) so just like All That Glitters, its highly pigmented and very smooth and blendable.

3. MAC Soft Brown
Taking a little break from the shimmers and talking about mattes for a minute, my favorite matte is Soft Brown from MAC. Its a great crease transition color for light to medium complexions but you can definitely wear it alone as well. Its a medium brown with an slight orange undertone and a silky matte finish. The formula feels soft and smooth and is nicely pigmented.

4. MAC Bronze
If you’re ready to venture into slightly deeper colors, Bronze is a great color to try. Its deeper than Woodwinked but the has the same beautiful warmth and pearl that makes it fantastic on Indian complexions. If you wear makeup mostly for special occasions like weddings etc, this is a great pick. The color works with ethnic outfits as well as western ensembles and you can do a beautiful smoky eye with this as well! Veluxe Pearl formula once again, no explanation needed!

5. MAC Sable
This was one of my first eye shadows from MAC and one I still love a lot. Its a neutral color but has a slight plum tone so its fantastic with pink lipsticks. While shades like Woodwinked and Bronze definitely spell party makeup to me, this is something that one can wear on the day-to-day despite the pearl finish. A light wash of this on the lid with just liner and mascara looks really pretty but you can easily take this more dramatic by adding some deeper plums. If you wear mostly pink lipsticks, this would be a good addition to the your collection.

MAC has a huge range of colors and finishes so this is by no means an exhaustive list! These are just the shades that I personally love and would recommend to ladies who have a complexion similar to mine. Here are some other shades which I think are great on Indian skin - Amber Lights, Antiqued, Mulch, Expensive Pink, Folie and Knight Divine.
